The Outsiders

Objective:  Students will create a “Family Celebration” poster to represent their unique family.

Material:  Access to computers, pictures of their choice, scanner, digital camera

Lesson:  students will learn that each family is unique in its own way, such as Ponyboy’s family of three brothers and Johnny’s family of the “gang.”  Students are to create a power point presentation of what “family” means to them.

 Evaluation:  final power point presentation
