The students will connect the context and ideas in the story to their
everyday lives.
They will also be exposed to the works of Robert Frost.
Materials:
copy of the book, study guide, copy of poem
Lesson:
students will orally ready chapters 5 & 6 and complete study guides.
Discussion will also include what makes good characters.
Re-read the poem on page 77.
Discuss the meaning on the content of the poem.

discussion, completion of journal topics, poem worksheet
