Objective:
Students will use various reading cues/strategies as they orally read.
They will role play scenes from the book and participate in class discussion.
Materials:
copy of the book, study guide, room for role play interaction
Lesson:
students and teacher will orally read chapters 7 & 8 and complete
study guide during class discussion. Students
will (in groups of three) role play a scene from the hospital or the home of one
of the reunion scenes of the chapter,
Evaluation:
discussion, study guide, complete journal assignment, role play
