The Outsiders

Objective:  Students will design a board game.

Materials:  students will be in groups of three.  They will be able to use any type of medium to make their game board (computer, tag board, Lego’s, (possibilities are endless).  

Lesson:  Game must include a way to review the story, characters, plot, setting, theme or conflict.  Game must include a complete set of directions, all needed game pieces, and must be easily stored in Ms. Olson’s room.  Try to make the game as creative and interesting as you can.  Points will be awarded for creativity.

Evaluation:  final product, peer review (after playing), teacher evaluation
