Objective: Students
will describe the setting and characters of the story. They will complete a question web on the characters.
Materials:
copy of the book, study guide, “Inspiration”
character web
Lesson:
students will orally read chapters 3 & 4 and complete study guide as
the story is read. There will be a
class discussion as it is read explaining the setting and the characters of the
story.
After completion of reading assignment – students will go to the
Inspiration character web and answer the questions that are there about the
characters (answer those they are able).
Evaluation:
Character web questions and study guide.
Standard:
Connect the content and ideas in a specific text to other topics and
related content areas.
